If you want a discreet, ultra-lightweight in-ear solution that vanishes completely for side sleeping and offers rapid charging, choose Xmenha Sleeping Ear Buds; if you need a versatile over-ear headband that doubles as a sweat-proof workout accessory with extended battery life, choose Fulext Sleep Headphones. This isn't a matter of which is technically superior on paper, but rather a question of where you intend to wear them most often. I have analyzed the specifications, design intent, and feature sets of both units to help you decide without getting lost in marketing fluff.
• Xmenha Sleeping Ear Buds: The standout strength is its microscopic profile designed specifically for side sleepers, offering -24 dB noise isolation and lightning-fast 10-minute charging. The trade-off is a shorter single-charge runtime of 4 hours compared to other options. This pick is for those who prioritize total comfort and invisibility while lying down.
• Fulext Sleep Headphones: Its biggest advantage is versatility, functioning as a soft sports headband with 14 hours of continuous playback and a premium 2-year warranty. The compromise is the bulkier over-ear form factor, which some strict side sleepers might find uncomfortable against a pillow. This pick is for users seeking a multi-use device for gym sessions and travel.
The Xmenha M72 model is engineered with a singular focus: making sure you can sleep on your side without feeling pressure or pain. At just 0.08 ounces per earplug, they are marketed as the lightest option available, utilizing liquid silicone to ensure a soft fit that avoids the swelling often caused by traditional hard plastic buds. If you have ever woken up with sore ears because your headphones dug into your cheekbone, this product addresses that specific mechanical failure point.
For the person who needs silence above all else, the physical noise reduction capability is a major selling point. The specification lists a physical noise blocking rating of up to -24 dB. This suggests a tight seal within the ear canal that actively dampens external disturbances like snoring partners or urban traffic, creating a quiet environment for rest. The inclusion of Bluetooth 5.46 ensures a stable connection with low latency, meaning audio sync remains consistent even when streaming audio books or white noise tracks throughout the night.

However, you should skip this product if you require a device for active workouts. While the Bluetooth range extends to 10 meters, the in-ear form factor lacks the sweat-proof construction explicitly mentioned for the competing headband. Furthermore, the 4-hour average battery life means you cannot rely on these for marathon listening sessions or long-haul flights without recharging. They are a dedicated sleep tool, not a general-purpose audio device. If you need multipoint true wireless earbuds for gym use or a best bluetooth headset for gym activities, this tiny in-ear unit is not the right architectural match for high-intensity movement.
The Fulext FULH01 takes a completely different approach by moving the drivers out of the ear canal and onto an over-ear headband. This design choice transforms the product from a niche sleep aid into a hybrid accessory suitable for yoga, running, and general exercise. This makes it an ideal candidate for someone who wants one device to handle their morning run and their evening wind-down routine.
Battery performance is where this unit truly distinguishes itself. With an average life of 14 hours, the Fulext headphones can easily cover a full day of intermittent use or a very long night's sleep without needing a power source. In contrast to the rapid charging of the Xmenha, the Fulext requires a longer 1.5-hour charge time, but the payoff is significantly more endurance. The touch controls allow for seamless management of music and calls without fumbling with small buttons, which is particularly useful when wearing gloves during a winter jog or trying to adjust volume while lying in bed.
This product is best suited for individuals who value durability and versatility over absolute discretion. The dustproof and sweat-proof features make it robust enough for rigorous environments, and the 2-year warranty provides a level of security regarding build quality that is less common in smaller electronics. However, if you are a strict side sleeper, the over-ear design might create pressure points against the pillow. The "DustyPlum" color and fabric material suggest a focus on style and comfort, but the bulk is inherent to the speaker placement. You would choose this if you need a best hifi stereo bone conduction alternative (though these are dynamic drivers) that prioritizes longevity and multi-sport utility over the zero-burden feel of in-ear buds.

In my opinion, if your primary goal is uninterrupted sleep without any sensation of hardware pressing against your face, the Xmenha Sleeping Ear Buds are the clear winner. Their engineering focuses entirely on the mechanics of lying down, offering a solution that feels almost non-existent. However, if you are looking for a device that transitions seamlessly from a morning run to a bedtime story, the Fulext Sleep Headphones offer better utility. For gym usage specifically, I recommend the Fulext model because its sweat-proof design and secure headband fit make it far more practical than the delicate in-ear Xmenha buds. Ultimately, choose based on whether you need a specialized sleep tool or a versatile lifestyle companion.
The Xmenha buds are not explicitly rated for sweat resistance and are designed primarily for static sleep positions, whereas the Fulext headband is built to be sweat-proof and suitable for running and yoga.
The Fulext Sleep Headphones provide 14 hours of continuous playback on a single charge, while the Xmenha Sleeping Ear Buds offer 4 hours per charge but support rapid charging to extend usage quickly.
The Xmenha buds feature a physical noise reduction capability of up to -24 dB, creating a sealed environment, while the Fulext headband relies on the ambient sound isolation provided by the over-ear cup design.
The Fulext Sleep Headphones come with a 2-year warranty and a robust headband construction, suggesting higher durability for active lifestyles compared to the delicate in-ear components of the Xmenha.
