If you want superior battery endurance and a secure, C-shaped fit for side sleeping, choose Xmenha Invisible Sleep Earbuds; if you need a dual-purpose set that offers distinct flat earbuds for sleeping alongside standard buds for daily use, choose CNBRO Flat Sleep Invisible.
• Xmenha Invisible Sleep Earbuds: Strengths include a 20-hour total battery life with the case and a specialized C-shaped silicone design that locks into the ear canal to prevent falling out during restless sleep. The trade-off is that it is a single-use dedicated sleep device rather than a versatile pair for the whole day. This pick is for the dedicated side sleeper who prioritizes all-night comfort and long listening sessions without interruption.
• CNBRO Flat Sleep Invisible: Strengths lie in its unique "two-in-one" value proposition, offering a charging case with two different types of earbuds: ultra-flat ones for sleeping and standard mini buds for workouts or office work. The trade-off is a significantly longer charge time of four hours and a lack of the specific C-shaped retention mechanism found on the Xmenha model. This pick is for the active user who wants one case to handle both their gym routine and their bedtime wind-down.
The Xmenha Z1 is engineered with a singular, laser-focused mission: to be the most comfortable companion for side sleepers who cannot tolerate bulk. If you have ever tried to fall asleep with standard earbuds only to wake up with sore ears because the plastic housing dug into your cheekbone, this product addresses that specific pain point directly. The design relies on a split silicone construction combined with C-shaped ear flaps. This isn't just about being small; it is about the geometry of how the bud sits inside the ear canal. The material is liquid silicone, which feels soft and pliable against the skin, eliminating the hard, rigid pressure points that traditional plastic headphones create. At just 0.1 ounces per earbud, they are exceptionally light, ensuring that the weight does not pull on your ear or cause fatigue even when worn for an entire night.
For those who spend a significant amount of time watching TV from bed or listening to white noise throughout the night, the battery performance here is a standout feature. While the earbuds themselves provide up to four hours of continuous play, the included charging case extends this total usage time to 20 hours. This means you can go several nights without needing to plug the case into a power source. Furthermore, the fast-charging capability is notable; a mere 10-minute charge on the USB Type-C port delivers 90 minutes of listening time. This is a practical safety net for anyone who forgets to charge them before bed or needs a quick top-up during a nap. The Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity ensures a stable transmission distance of about 10 meters, which is more than sufficient for moving around a bedroom or even walking to the kitchen without losing the signal.

However, this product is not for everyone. If you are looking for a headphone solution to wear while running, commuting, or working in a noisy office environment where you need to block out ambient chatter actively, the Xmenha Z1 might feel too specialized. It relies on passive noise cancellation through its seal in the ear canal rather than electronic active noise cancellation (ANC). It is designed specifically for the quiet environment of a bedroom. Additionally, the controls are touch-based, which some users find less precise than physical buttons, though it fits the slim profile well. If you prefer a device that doubles as a primary music player for your morning jog, this unit is strictly a sleep accessory. It is the ideal choice for the person who treats sleep hygiene as a priority and needs a device that disappears completely into their ear, offering a truly invisible experience that doesn't interfere with their rest position.
The CNBRO MD37 takes a different approach by solving the problem of carrying multiple devices. Instead of forcing you to choose between a sleep earbud and a workout earbud, this brand includes two distinct pairs in a single charging case. One pair consists of the ultra-flat, discreet earbuds designed specifically for side sleeping, mirroring the core function of the Xmenha. The second pair features standard ultra-mini earbuds intended for office listening or active workouts. This versatility makes it a compelling option for people who want to consolidate their audio gear. The flat design of the sleep buds is marketed to apply zero pressure on the ear while lying on your side, aiming to prevent the soreness that often comes from protruding hardware. They are also described as featherlight at 0.1 ounces each, making them comfortable for extended wear during the day or night.
This system is particularly appealing to those who lead a busy lifestyle and struggle with decision fatigue regarding their audio setup. You can grab the flat buds to watch a movie in bed, then swap to the standard buds for a gym session or a podcast walk later that same day. The product information indicates a dynamic driver with a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, suggesting a broad spectrum of audio reproduction suitable for both relaxing soundscapes and energetic tracks. The control method here differs significantly from the Xmenha; these units utilize app-based controls rather than simple touch sensors. This opens up possibilities for customization through software, allowing users to adjust settings or manage playback via a smartphone interface. The Bluetooth version is 5.3, which provides reliable wireless connectivity for daily tasks.
Despite the convenience of the dual-bud system, there are trade-offs to consider regarding pure sleep performance. The charging time for the CNBRO case is listed at four hours, which is notably longer than the 1.5 hours required by the Xmenha. If you are in a rush and need to quickly charge your device before heading to the bedroom, this could be a minor inconvenience. Furthermore, while the flat design aims for comfort, the reliance on an open-ear or non-in-ear description in the marketing suggests a different fit profile than the deep-canal C-shape of the Xmenha. Some users who require a tight seal for maximum passive noise isolation might find the open design less effective at blocking external sounds like a partner snoring or street traffic. This product is best suited for the user who values flexibility above all else and wants a single case to handle their diverse audio needs throughout the entire day, from the gym to the pillow.
• Best for Battery Life → Xmenha Invisible Sleep Earbuds: With a total of 20 hours of playtime provided by the case and a faster charge cycle, the Xmenha wins for those who prioritize uninterrupted listening across multiple nights.
• Best for Versatility → CNBRO Flat Sleep Invisible: If you need one device for both sleeping and daytime activities like working out or commuting, the dual-bud case offers unmatched utility.
• Best for Secure Fit During Sleep → Xmenha Invisible Sleep Earbuds: The specific C-shaped silicone flaps and split design are engineered to lock into the ear canal, reducing the risk of falling out compared to the general flat design of the competitor.
• Best for Fast Charging → Xmenha Invisible Sleep Earbuds: A 10-minute charge yields 90 minutes of use on the Xmenha, whereas the CNBRO requires a full four-hour charge time, making Xmenha better for last-minute prep.
• Best for Customization → CNBRO Flat Sleep Invisible: The inclusion of app-based controls allows for software adjustments that touch-only models like the Xmenha do not offer.
• Best for Deep Passive Isolation → Xmenha Invisible Sleep Earbuds: The in-ear, C-shaped design likely creates a tighter acoustic seal for blocking room noise compared to the open-ear style described for the CNBRO sleep buds.
• Best for All-Day Wear → CNBRO Flat Sleep Invisible: The ability to switch between flat sleep buds and standard workout buds makes this the superior choice for someone wearing earbuds from morning until night.
• Best for Minimalist Design → Xmenha Invisible Sleep Earbuds: Focused entirely on the sleep experience, the Xmenha eliminates the complexity of a second pair of buds for a streamlined, single-purpose tool.
In my opinion, I would choose the Xmenha Invisible Sleep Earbuds for anyone whose primary goal is a restful night's sleep, especially if they are a side sleeper who has struggled with discomfort in the past. The combination of the C-shaped silicone retention, the lighter overall feel of the specific in-ear design, and the superior battery management makes it the more reliable tool for its intended purpose. While the CNBRO is clever for its dual-functionality, the longer charge time and the potential compromise on the seal for sleep isolation make it a secondary choice. If you are buying these specifically for tv watching late at night or to listen to sleep stories all night long, the Xmenha's focus on stability and endurance is exactly what you need. It solves the core problem of side-sleeping earbuds—falling out and hurting your ears—without introducing the extra variables of a second set of buds you may not need.
Both models utilize passive noise cancellation through their physical design and materials. The Xmenha's deeper in-ear fit generally offers better sound isolation for blocking out background noise while watching TV, whereas the CNBRO's open-ear design may let in more ambient sound.
Neither product lists active noise cancellation (ANC) chips in their data sheets. Both rely on the physical seal of the ear tip to dampen external noise. The Xmenha is likely more effective for this due to its C-shaped in-ear architecture, which blocks more sound than the flat, open-style buds.
No, neither of these products features rotatable ear cups. These are true wireless in-ear or flat-fit earbuds designed to sit directly in or on the ear canal without any rotating joints or over-ear components.
