If you want a protective, cartoon-style case set for AirPods 4, choose XMBYGY Pen Case; if you need a locking, shock-absorbing cover for Beats Powerbeats Pro 2, choose LDSXAY Beats Powerbeats Pro. For flights, I’d choose based on which earbuds you already own: the XMBYGY set adds spare case covers and a cleaning pen, while LDSXAY focuses on keeping a Powerbeats Pro 2 charging case secured and protected.
• XMBYGY Pen Case: Three silicone covers and a cleaning pen make it a practical accessory set for AirPods 4; its major limitation is that it does not include earbuds and fits no other listed AirPods generation.
• LDSXAY Beats Powerbeats Pro: A locking latch, shock-absorbing materials, carabiner, and cleaning pen suit a more rugged carry setup; it is compatible only with Beats Powerbeats Pro 2.
• XMBYGY is for AirPods 4 owners who want cartoon styling, silicone coverage, and extra covers in one set.
• LDSXAY is for Powerbeats Pro 2 owners who want a secure-latching case cover they can attach to a bag or belt loop.
The XMBYGY package is a protective accessory set for AirPods 4, not a set of earbuds. It includes three silicone case covers and one cleaning pen with a flocking sponge, soft brush, and metal pen tip. That combination is useful if you want to change the look of your charging case, keep a spare cover available, or have a small tool for cleaning dust and stubborn dirt from earbuds.
The silicone covers have a cartoon design and are described as providing full-body protection. In daily use, that makes this the more playful, appearance-focused option: it adds a layer around the charging case while giving it a different look. The listing identifies the case as compatible with AirPods 4 and explicitly rules out earlier AirPods generations, AirPods Pro, AirPods Pro 2, and AirPods 3. That tight fit requirement matters. Confirm your exact model before choosing it, since a similar-looking charging case is not enough to establish compatibility.
For flights, the cleaning pen and portable covers may suit someone who likes to keep small accessories together and wants a distinctive case inside a carry-on or personal bag. The set is also aimed at people who appreciate having three covers rather than a single one. It does not include the earbuds, and the supplied details do not describe features such as a locking latch or a carabiner. If those are central to your travel setup, the other option has more specific carrying and closure features.
How We Research
We compare products from their published specs and features; the verdicts below are our independent editorial opinions.

Who should skip it: Skip XMBYGY if you do not own AirPods 4, or if you want a cover with a stated secure-lock mechanism and carabiner.
The cover also has a carabiner for attaching it to a bag, backpack, belt loop, or keychain. That can make the charging case easier to keep within reach while moving through an airport or packing for a trip. Its cutouts are designed to allow charging without removing the cover, and the product information says the buttons and features remain accessible. Those details reduce the need to take the cover off for routine use, although they do not tell us how the case performs under every charging setup or travel condition.
A multifunctional cleaning pen is included as well. Unlike the XMBYGY set, LDSXAY provides one case cover rather than three, and its style is black with a hybrid carbon-fiber and TPU construction. It is not an all-purpose Beats accessory: the listed compatibility is specifically Powerbeats Pro 2, released in 2025, and the product notes say it does not fit other devices. For shoppers using ear clip headphones for flights, the model match is the first thing to check; this is a cover for the charging case, not headphones themselves.
Who should skip it: Skip LDSXAY if you have another Beats model, or if you want multiple covers and cartoon styling rather than a locking, rugged design.
• Best fit for AirPods 4 → XMBYGY Pen Case. Its silicone covers are specifically designed for AirPods 4; LDSXAY is for Powerbeats Pro 2.
• Best fit for Powerbeats Pro 2 → LDSXAY Beats Powerbeats Pro. Its stated compatibility is limited to that charging case.
• Best for a secure closure → LDSXAY. Its locking latch is designed to help prevent the case from opening after a bump or drop.
• Best for a clip-on carry option → LDSXAY. The included carabiner can attach the cover to a bag, backpack, belt loop, or keychain.
• Best for multiple cover options → XMBYGY. The package includes three silicone covers, not just one.
• Best for a cartoon look → XMBYGY. Its covers have a cartoon pattern, while LDSXAY is described as black.
• Best for listed shock-absorbing materials → LDSXAY. It uses TPU and carbon-fiber materials and is described as offering full-body protection.
• Best for a cleaning kit with both options → Tie. Each package includes a multifunctional cleaning pen, though XMBYGY specifies a flocking sponge, soft brush, and metal tip.
These accessories do not compete as interchangeable cases for the same earbuds. The decision starts with your device, then comes down to what you want the cover to do. XMBYGY leans toward variety and a more personal look. LDSXAY puts more emphasis on a latch, attachment point, and protective construction.
Buying Considerations
Before choosing, check the exact earbud model printed in your device information or on its original packaging. Compatibility is not a small distinction here: XMBYGY is for AirPods 4 and excludes several other AirPods models, while LDSXAY is for Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 and says it is not compatible with other devices. A cover that looks close to the right size may still be the wrong fit.
Next, decide whether you care more about protection details or a bundle of covers. XMBYGY supplies three silicone case covers, so it offers more variety within the package. LDSXAY supplies one cover but specifies a locking latch, TPU and carbon-fiber construction, and a carabiner. Those are different approaches, not proof that one product is universally tougher or more useful in every situation.
Also consider what you expect from a cleaning pen. Both packages include one, but only XMBYGY’s details identify its tools as a flocking sponge, soft brush, and metal tip. LDSXAY calls its pen multifunctional without specifying the individual components. Neither listing establishes that the cleaning tools are suitable for every surface or cleaning method, so follow the care guidance for your earbuds.
If you are searching for touch control sports earbuds for flights, these listings are for protective charging-case accessories, not earbuds. Likewise, people looking for best kids headphones for flights should note that the XMBYGY cartoon styling may appeal to some younger users, but it does not turn the product into headphones or establish that the earbuds themselves fit a child. Choose the accessory only after confirming the earbuds it is meant to cover.
Finally, if overall value is part of your decision, compare the current product details and what each package includes before buying. The XMBYGY bundle has three covers; LDSXAY has a locking design and carabiner. Those contents are easy to weigh against your own needs, but there is no single value choice for buyers with different earbuds and carrying habits.
I’d choose LDSXAY Beats Powerbeats Pro if I owned Powerbeats Pro 2, because its locking latch and carabiner address practical carry concerns for flights. I’d choose XMBYGY instead for AirPods 4, especially if I wanted three cartoon-style silicone covers and a cleaning pen. My recommendation is LDSXAY for the more security-focused design, but only for someone with the exact compatible Beats model.
No. XMBYGY is designed for AirPods 4, while LDSXAY is made for the Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 charging case. Neither product is presented as compatible with other listed models.
LDSXAY has a locking latch intended to help keep the Powerbeats Pro 2 case from opening if it is bumped or dropped. The XMBYGY details describe silicone covers but do not specify a locking mechanism.
The product information says its cutouts allow charging without removing the cover and preserve access to the buttons and features. Confirm that your earbuds are the Powerbeats Pro 2 model before selecting it.
It is a set of three silicone case covers for AirPods 4, with a cleaning pen. The earbuds are not included, so it does not function as a standalone headphone product.
