Anaphylaxis is a severe and immediate allergic reaction that is life-threatening if not recognised and treated quickly.
If someone is having an anaphylactic reaction you should:
Recognise they are seriously unwell and may be having an anaphylactic reaction
Look at the person and use an ABCDE approach
If the person has a sudden onset of illness with changes to airway and or breathing and or circulation and usually with skin changes
Call for help
Lie the person flat and raise their legs
Adrenaline is the urgent treatment which should be given
ABCDE Approach
The ABCDE approach can be taken by anyone without specific training or experience
ABCDE stands for:

B = Breathing
C = Circulation
D = Disability
E = Exposure
