Students are provided with the following technology by Excel Academy-East Boston, to facilitate and support learning: Chromebook + Charger.
In order for your student to access Excel’s blended curriculum, the school has decided that this technology will travel to and from the student’s home. This device is school-owned property and is only to be used for school-related purposes. Care for and transport of this technology is the sole responsibility of the student All students have signed a waiver, stating that they understand their full responsible for the technology, including replacement or financial reimbursement if it is damaged, broken, or lost. The replacement cost of this device at the time of signing is $250 for the Chromebook and $20 for the Charger. This includes all accidental damages including, but not limited, to: broken or removed keys, broken ports (audio, HDMI, charging, etc.), a broken or cracked screen, water damage, physical vandalism (stickers, engravings, markings), and removal of school labels and/or asset tag ID numbers
