I received my PhD in Economics from Texas A&M University in 2020 and am currently an Assistant Professor at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE). I previously served as a Research Fellow at the China Center for Health Economics Research at Peking University (PKU) and have worked closely with researchers of anti-povery lab at the Survey and Research Center for China Household Finance (CHFS) at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) since 2017.
My research focuses on how public policies affect household decision-making and poverty alleviation in developing countries. My current work involves a series of field experiments in China examining the effectiveness of work-incentivized cash transfer programs on low-income households, with outcomes including labor supply, job displacement, earnings, consumption, savings, and human capital investment.
My research has been published in journals such as Experimental Economics and Annals of Economics and Finance. I have served as a referee for leading journals, including the China Economic Review and the Emerging Markets Finance and Trade. I have also contributed to the compilation and revision of a Principles of Economics textbook tailored for medical students.
