Dong Huang, Graduate Student
I am a Ph.D student at the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at CU Boulder. My research interests focus on climate dynamics and the coupling between the stratosphere and troposphere, particularly stratosphere-troposphere exchange (STE). In my spare time, I enjoy playing football, hiking, and cycling.
Ayana Monreal (UG, 25-26)
I am interested in how carbon monoxide and other greenhouse gas emissions move through the atmosphere in the lower troposphere, and how weather patterns impact their movement. In my free time I enjoy cave surveying and studying the impact that karst ecosystems have on our environment.
Project: Hotspots of Carbon Monoxide from Biomass Burning in Model Simulations (Poster)
Xander Moss (UG, 26)
My research interests include atmospheric pollutant tracking and pollutant distribution through groundwater systems. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, skiing and painting.
Project: Observations of CO and Greenhouse Gases Using NOAA AirCore Measurements
Jose E. Ruiz Sanchez (UG, 24)
Project: The Evolution of the 2022 Hunga Tonga Hunga Ha'apai Eruption Water Vapor Plume in the Stratosphere & its Effects on Stratospheric Surface Temperature (Research statement)
