I grew up in Chongqing, China, and later moved to Upstate New York to study social and affective neuroscience at Cornell University. After completing my MA degree, I worked as a Research Coordinator at Cornell Action Research Collaborative, contributing to interdisciplinary research and program evaluations on nutrition health and childhood intervention.
At Cornell, I continued my doctoral training in Psychology, where I study how social experiences, reward processes, and emotional systems influence mental and brain health across development. I work with Drs. Marlen Gonzalez (advisor), Alex Ophir and Jonathan Rottenberg.
Outside of research, I enjoy painting, hiking, playing badminton, and exploring the intersection of science, technology, and human experiences.
"Bridging neuroimaging, affective science, and real-world behavioral ecology to elucidate human decision-making and affective health."
