I am a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Mississippi State University.
I received my Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech in 2025. I obtained my B.Eng and M.Sc in Aircraft Design and Engineering & Aircraft Airworthiness Technology and Management from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA), China.
I am an enthusiast for fusing physics knowledge and statistical/machine-learning models to help with many engineering applications, such as the design of computer experiments for crash simulation, digital twin modeling for biomanufacturing, the optimal sensor placement for methane leak monitoring, ultrasound testing for bond integrity in manufacturing, quality control for inkjet printing, and the predictive modeling for complex dynamical systems.
My research focuses on AI/ML-enhanced scientific and engineering simulations, integrating domain knowledge and physics to improve inference, prediction, and decision-making in areas like drone safety, experimental design, NDE, manufacturing, and digital twins.
