Julia is a Senior Project Manager and Registered Architect in Arizona. She joined DesignLink shortly after its inception. Her strengths include construction documentation, code and ordinance knowledge, design standards, technical knowledge, among others. Her attention to detail and immense experience, make her a key component of the DesignLink Team.

Design Link\u2019\u0092s team of talented designers combines several decades of industry experience with the most recent advancements in LEED and commercial/residential design concepts. Each member of our staff is capable of taking a project from initial design concept through final project implementation.

Use Simpleware Design Link to edit parametric designs in SOLIDWORKS and sync the changes to Simpleware ScanIP. In addition, there are a number of tools available in the Simpleware CAD module that can be used to edit triangulated surface objects including group/ungroup, smooth, fill holes, clip, extrude, etc.

By default, most browsers will style hyperlinks when they are clicked or focused on. For example, in Firefox 3.6, the default style for a:active is coloring the link red and surrounding it with a red dashed outline. The default style for a:focus, which you can see for yourself by using your Tab key, is a blue dashed outline.

People who cannot use a mouse need to tab to hyperlinks in order to activate them (using the Enter/Return key). Imagine having to tab through 100 links in a web page (which is not as uncommon as you might think, the front page of our web design blog has close to 200 links). Would it not be difficult to see which link you are on if there was no visual cue for them?

Carsonified connects web designers and developers together through conferences held year-round all around the world. Their website is an excellent display of consistency and similarity principles applied to links. You can move your mouse all throughout the page and see their unique hyperlink effects displayed in a similar fashion as their site logo.

Their main menu links look great and use CSS3 text-shadow to give them that extra touch of detail. The main menu links also have descriptive title attributes to help users learn more about a particular link when they hover their mouse over them.

The Build Conference is held for designers and developers and is hosted in Ireland. Their site has a unique effect added to their main navigation links that fades in on mouseover using CSS3 transition properties.

Nintendo has always been at the forefront of innovation, and you can see this on their corporate site. In the context of hyperlinks, their main navigation links fade into a light blue glow underneath when you mouse over them, reminiscent of the blue LEDs on the Wii.

The Share mode in XD consolidates different sharing capabilities into a centralized location and makes sharing your designs and collaborating with stakeholders and designers a breeze!

You can use the built-in presets, such as Design Review, Development, Presentation, User Testing, and Custom to share your documents and manage your shared links.

You can organize your designs and add right controls to share them with your stakeholders. Often times, you would want to create different versions of a design and share with different set of stakeholders. In such scenarios, Multiple Flows let you create and share different versions of a design in the same document, all in one place.

XD provides scenario-based presets to create shareable links for your designs with ease. For example, when creating a design link for review, all you have to do is select the available preset based on your requirement, set link access permission, and share it with your stakeholders. You no longer have to worry about setting commenting options or navigation controls.

Once artboards and interaction flows are defined in the Prototype mode, your design spec or prototype is ready to share. The title of your defined interaction flow appears in the Title pane. You can modify the title based on your design need.

In the View Setting drop-down, select any of the presets and set link access permissions to share your design specs or prototypes. Click Create Link. The URL appears in Link Settings pane.

As a designer, you can share flows within your designs or prototypes using any of the available sample presets and set permissions to reshare them further. Reviewers can add, remove, or accept requests from other set of reviewers who want to access or view the secure private link.

Watch this sample animation to learn how to share your designs for review and help reviewers reshare the designs or prototypes further.

This modular handbook has been approved by the Deep Space Network (DSN) Project Office and is provided as a source of technical information for all flight projects using the DSN. It provides information useful to flight projects contemplating the design of hardware and software, with reasonable assurance that the resulting project telecommunications interfaces will be compatible with the established or planned DSN configurations.

The handbook is primarily concerned with performance parameters of equipment that supports the forward and return telecommunications link interfaces between spacecraft and the DSN. The handbook consists of modules that present technical information applicable to the current DSN configuration and preliminary information applicable to future DSN configurations. These modules will be revised to reflect new capabilities when they have been planned and budgeted for by the DSN Project Office.

Create a site link design to connect your sites with site links. Site links reflect the intersite connectivity and method used to transfer replication traffic. You must connect sites with site links so that domain controllers at each site can replicate Active Directory changes.

To connect sites with site links, identify the member sites that you want to connect with the site link, create a site link object in the respective Inter-Site Transports container, and then name the site link. After you create the site link, you can proceed to set the site link properties.

When creating site links, ensure that every site is included in a site link. In addition, ensure that all sites are connected to each other through other site links so that the changes can be replicated from domain controllers in any site to all other sites. If you fail to do this, an error message is generated in the Directory Service log in Event Viewer stating that the site topology is not connected.

Whenever you add sites to a newly created site link, determine if the site being added is a member of other site links, and change the site link membership of the site if needed. For example, if you make a site a member of the Default-First-Site-Link when you initially create the site, be sure to remove the site from the Default-First-Site-Link after you add the site to a new site link. If you do not remove the site from the Default-First-Site-Link, the Knowledge Consistency Checker (KCC) will make routing decisions based on the membership of both site links, which may result in incorrect routing.

To identify the member sites that you want to connect with a site link, use the list of locations and linked locations that you recorded in the "Geographic Locations and Communication Links" (DSSTOPO_1.doc) worksheet. If multiple sites have the same connectivity and availability to each other, you can connect them with the same site link.

The Inter-Site Transports container provides the means for mapping site links to the transport that the link uses. When you create a site link object, you create it in either the IP container, which associates the site link with the remote procedure call (RPC) over IP transport, or the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) container, which associates the site link with the SMTP transport.

When you create a site link object in the respective Inter-Site Transports container, AD DS uses RPC over IP to transfer both intersite and intrasite replication between domain controllers. To keep data secure while in transit, RPC over IP replication uses both the Kerberos authentication protocol and data encryption.

To name site links, use a consistent naming scheme, such as name_of_site1-name_of_site2. Record the list of sites, linked sites, and the names of the site links connecting these sites in a worksheet. For a worksheet to assist you in recording site names and associated site link names, see Job Aids for Windows Server 2003 Deployment Kit, download Job_Aids_Designing_and_Deploying_Directory_and_Security_Services.zip, and open "Sites and Associated Site Links" (DSSTOPO_5.doc). be457b7860
