'Bloody Monochrome' was a trailer assignment for the University of Amsterdam. As my first film-related project, I was challenged by the task of turning a narrative into a visual form, more specifically, into the trailer of a fictional movie we had to come up with.
The idea for Bloody Monochrome came about through experimentation with Black & White filers, and the insertion of colour only on certain elements of the frame.
Logline - In a world where money is the only factor allowing one to feel emotions, a poor woman is willing to kill in exchange for her happiness.
