The Eleventh group was established in 1952 by Chief/ Jack El-Eissa and it was called the Immaculate Conception( الحبل بلا دنس)Group.
And its headquarters was in the collége de Frére School in Toman Bay Street, then it moved to the Don Bosco Salesian Church in Salim I Street, then the group’s headquarters settled in the Church of the Holy Family to this day.
The new headquarters was not suitable due to its narrow size and lack of capabilities, but the group did not stop its activities and resisted despite the circumstances and became stronger than it was, and the group set the strongest example in the strength of its leaders and their intelligence to overcome difficulties by holding meetings outside the headquarters and in different places.
Now, Group No. Eleven is one of the largest groups of Scouts of Wadi El Nil , has the shield of the best group in the Wadi El Nil twice in a row, and recently it got it for the third time, and it was kept with the approval of
the Commander-in-Chief of the Scouts and Guides of Wadi El Nile ,
Chief/ Fawzi Al-Asmar and this is based on an official request from the leader of the Eleventh group Chief/Martin Maher.
And the group is still getting the best positions on Scouts Wadi El Nil, and still in continuous giving with more than 300 members of leaders, scouts, cubs and buds.
