Xiaomo Chen

Welcome!

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior, Center for Neuroscience, Center for Neuroengineering and Medicine at UC Davis.

Understanding how human cognition emerges from specific neural circuits within the brain is perhaps the greatest challenge of modern biology. The research goal of my lab is to elucidate the neural mechanisms underlying cognition, and to translate those discoveries toward the development of techniques to enhance human cognitive functions in both health and disease.
