Design and Display

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 has a 5-inch IPS LCD display with Gorilla Glass coating on the top. The screen has full HD resolution (1,080 x 1,920 pixels) resulting in a huge pixel density of 441ppi. The device has a unibody design with metallic finish.

Platform and Performance

The smartphone comes with Android v6.0.1 (Marshmallow) OS with MIUI 8 out of the box. Beneath the metal clad body, the handset boasts of pretty powerful performance features which include a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, clubbed with a mammoth 3GB RAM and a powerful Adreno 506 GPU. As such, the device looks well equipped to handle heavy multitasking, high end gaming or other form of intensive usage.

Camera and Storage

The handset sports a 13MP main camera with phase detection autofocus and LED flash. The camera can capture images of 4,128 x 3,096 pixels resolution and can record full HD videos at 30fps.
