Investigated the optimal scheduling algorithm for packet transmission in a switch with n inputs and n outputs under different packet arrival rates that minimizes the total expected waiting time of packets.
Conjectured an optimal policy by simulating different scheduling algorithms in Python in a 2 X 2 switch.
Currently investigating the optimal policy in larger switches.
