Ph.D. Positions in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Computer Science

Multiple fully funded Ph.D. positions are available starting immediately in the Department of Computer & Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Florida Atlantic University (FAU).

The research areas of these positions are generally related to computational intelligence, cyber-physical systems (CPS), intelligent control, networked control systems, robotics and unmanned aerial vehicles.

Required qualifications:

(1) B.S. degree in engineering field

(2) Strong background in feedback control, intelligent control, machine learning, optimization, robotics, CPS, and/or mathematics

(3) Excellent writing and communication skills

(4) Proficiency in programming languages, such as MATLAB, C/C++, Python, etc

Preferred qualifications:

(1) M.S. degree

(2) Previous research experience with a good publication record

(3) Previous research experience on control systems, robotics, UAV is a plus
