I am an Associate Professor in the College of Social Work at University of Kentucky and an honorific Research Scientist at the Life Path Research Center.
My research focuses on intergenerational trauma transmission and resilience development for trauma-affected individuals and families. I am keen on using the knowledge gained in my research to inform program development and evaluation. My community partners include Salvation Army Syracuse, Camden Life Center, and St. Joseph's Hospital. See more details on my research page!
I have teaching experience in Human Behavior and Social Environment, Social Policy and Welfare, and Program Evaluation. I am enthusiastic about engaging students in my classroom in both in-person and online settings.
