Selected Student Comments:
"Professor Zhang is one of the best professors I have had in a while. Her course is a lot more engaging due to her passion and ability to explain concepts clearly. She is very responsive both in and out of class and often tries to engage the entire class with questions. Her exams test the concepts we learned in class in the most effective manner I have seen in all courses without being outrageously hard or easy. She is also very good at answering student questions, as she does not merely answer the questions, but analyzes where the student may be confused and tries to address that at the source." (Spring 2022)
"I usually never do a GatorEvals, nonetheless on my graduation semester, but this teacher has earned one and my respect. Amazing teacher that actually cared to remember the students' names and involve them in daily lectures. Too often do teachers just talk, to where it is not possible for a student to ask a question– but this teacher provided an environment for everyone to react within time and at a pace that made econometrics a comprehensible course." (Spring 2022)
"Going into this class, I already knew how to do a great deal of the concepts presented in the class because of previous stats/econ courses. However, this instructor definitely increased my proficiency in these topics because she asked questions that made me think about the processes behind trivial equations, such as Confidence interval. This teacher had a great teaching style that fostered deep thought in the minds of the students. I'd definitely say this has been one of my most valuable courses here at UF." (Fall 2022)
