"Day 2"
Date: November 24, 2022
Participants: Ms. Christine, Ms. Fani, Ms. Francis, Ms. Helen, Mr. Leo, Ms. Natalia, Apostolos Sig, XBGamerX, +32 others
Period I – The Morning
Everyone woke up on November 24, at around 7:30 am UTC+0 again, with the students being more consistent this time around. The weather was nice, different feel of the morning. They had to meet at 9:30 am this time, giving them slightly more time to have breakfast. At 8:49 am, Ms. Francis announced that they would go shopping first.
Everyone gathered at around 9:30 am, meeting Ms. Francis as well as everyone else in the 1st floor again. However, not everyone had come so they had to wait for some time. Nevertheless, the teacher said to start walking at exactly 10:00 am, with XBGamerX being in the front as the second leader. They were planning to go to Oxford St.

Period II – The Way to Oxford St
As they exited out the wrong way, XBGamerX soon realized and led them to the other exit of the hotel in Bedford Way at 10:05 am. They took a turn to Russell Sq at 10:08 am. XBGamerX said to go right, into Montague Pl at 10:10 am, where they also saw the British Museum. There was fallen leaves all over the ground, giving a great feel of the fall combined with the cold weather of London. The class entered into Bedford Square at 10:13 am, then, at 10:15 am, in Bayley St. Everyone turned left at 10:17 am, in Tottenham Ct Rd. They finally reached Oxford St at 10:19 am, having walked 4,166 ft.

Period III – Primark
Everyone was sorted into groups, for instance, Ms. Francis was with the younger students to enter Primark. Mr. Leo got control of the older boys, including XBGamerX. All of them entered the building at 10:22 am and went downstairs to go shopping. It was about 10:24 am and they were advised to be finished by 11:00 am.
Most of them were busy trying to find something to buy, mainly looking for clothes. By around 10:50 am, everyone was in the waiting line to pay. The majority got the same British white hoodies where they started wearing them soon after.
Some of them went upstairs at about 11:14 am mainly to get something to drink and sit. Ms. Francis was there, where it basically had some more clothes. It was 11:28 am however when Mr. Leo as well as the boys got out of the store. They were the first to be there, however, by the time, the others came as well, all waiting outside.
The first picture was taken at 12:22 pm UTC+0 in Oxford St and the second one outside Niketown.
Period IV – Along Oxford St
It took a lot of time however, until Ms. Francis and later some of the remaining students came outside. It was 12:19 pm when they finally took their way to the next store.
Everyone walked down the street. It was busy and crowded, with one activist screaming in a corner, taking the attention of everyone. Ms. Francis wanted XBGamerX to lead them to a Nike store but while doing so they still continued straight despite XBGamerX’s directions. By chance, they found one right in corner of Oxford Circus station called “Niketown”. In the meantime, the weather started getting more and more cloudy, ready to have a rain purred down. At last, everyone walked just only 2,509 ft.
Period V – Niketown
With no hesitation, they entered the store at 12:32 pm. This time, the teachers advised everyone to return with no delay at 12:45 pm.
There was loud music in the shop. Everyone soon got all the way up at the 4th floor. They spent some time there looking for something to buy but the problem was how expensive everything was. Hardly did anyone buy something, so some of them sat with the teachers in the 1st floor. Those who bought items however finished at 12:57 pm, so they all got out at 1:00 pm.
Shortly after, Ms. Francis called a taxi so Ms. Helen could receive the bags with the items everyone bought and leave them to the hotel. The taxi arrived at around 1:20 pm, so she left immediately.

Period VI – TK Maxx
As soon as the teacher left, the class then requested to go to TK Maxx where it was just 610 ft, pretty close. They got outside of it at 1:23 pm. Ms. Francis gave only 15 minutes this time, so everyone had to be quicker.
Consisting of 2 floors, everyone explored the entire building from start to end. They looked for shoes, jackets, t-shirts, everything. Being more consistent this time, they all arrived at the cash desk fairly soon, at about 1:40 pm. Then, it began raining outside, so Mr. Leo told everyone to stay inside and wait for the others to finish.
As it seemed, it took more time than it was intended. Almost all of the class sat down, everyone started getting tired again. This time, it was estimated that a higher percentage purchased clothes compared to “Niketown”.
Period VII – The Souvenirs
This was until 2:00 pm. Everyone shortly turned to Regent St at 2:02 pm. It started raining hard and it was only getting colder. By 2:24 pm, the class had already made their way into Piccadilly again, this time, having more time to see the area, especially considering it was the ideal time to do so. They walked 3,202 ft.

Period VII – The Souvenirs
By 2:24 pm, the class had already made their way into Piccadilly again, this time, having more time to see the area, especially considering it was the ideal time to do so. They walked 3,202 ft.
Everyone got into a souvenir shop at 2:26 pm. Coming as a surprise, everything was very expensive. Some of them ended up having little money left as it was the case for XBGamerX for example. Others who had money still purchased items from the store anyway.
Ms. Francis and Ms. Fani notified the class through Viber to get out, at 2:51 pm. XBGamerX along with Ms. Fani were the last ones remaining in the store so they both went to buy what they needed and exited the shop at 2:56 pm, taking just half an hour. By that time, everyone had spent at least £100.00 on shopping that day alone.

Period VIII – Burger King
At 3:01 pm, the class began walking deeper through Coventry St where they reached Leicester Square at 3:04 pm and walked 1,463 ft only.
They entered into Burger King at 3:05 pm to start ordering food. The place was crowded. The students attempted ordering through the self-order stands that were set up but they failed doing so, having the only chance to stay in the line to order.
It took some minutes to order and take their orders so as to eat, at like 3:18 pm. It seemed that everyone sat in the 2nd floor just upon. Most of them finished eating at about 3:45 pm so they had to go to the restroom to be sure. To their surprise, the restrooms required codes from the receipt in order to get in, so there was a slight confusion in the beginning. As everything was finished, they exited the restaurant at 4:13 pm to continue.

Period IX – The Walk in the Rain
As they came out, there was a lively atmosphere, with some people playing music. Ms. Francis asked XBGamerX to guide the class to Hyde Park, in order to go to Winter Wonderland. After that, she told everyone to begin walking at 4:19 pm.

They got into Piccadilly again, at 4:23 pm. There was a confusion there and that was where Ms. Francis began shouting to change direction once she realized some were going the wrong way. They got into road Piccadilly at 4:30 pm. After that, they started walking straight ahead, watching their surroundings and the night feel of the city lights in this crowded area, which gave the good vibes. The rain stopped at this point for a bit. At 4:44 pm, they passed next to Green Park. The confusion began again when they reached Wellington Arch at 4:52 pm.
The class got through and right below Wellington Arch 4:54 pm. There, it started raining hard again and everyone began getting wet.

They all crossed the street and got to Hyde Park Corner station, continuing their way by taking Knightsbridge, at 4:59 pm. They kept going on until Ms. Francis ordered to stop at 5:04 pm. She called Ms. Helen instead, who was already there, saying that the entrance was from the north side and not the south, frustrating everyone.
They all began walking at 5:07 pm instead, where XBGamerX returned guiding everyone with his GPS. All got into Hyde Park at 5:08 pm. As a result of the rain, everything was muddy and dark, having no lights for some reason. They walked some distance and got in the rear entrance of Winter Wonderland at 5:12 pm, only to realize it was the Green Gate and not the Golden Gate that they were looking for. It turned out they had to walk even more, to go at the one in the front.
Thankfully, the rain had stopped by that time. They had to walk a distance of about half a mile. At 5:18 pm, they reached half the distance when they passed by Reformer’s Tree, taking Nicholas Hemingway Walk. At 5:20 pm, they took a right turn only to realize they were on a dead end, so they had to turn back up just to go to the front entrance for once. They finally arrived in Winter Wonderland at 5:25 pm, after walking an entire 2.31 miles.

Period X – Winter Wonderland Entrance
Everyone had to pass through yet another check. It took only a few minutes, where everyone was able to get inside at 5:35 pm. They started walking at 5:38 pm, deeper into the park and they got inside a spinning café, at 5:42 pm. Not getting anything from there, they exited at 5:45 pm. They arrived outside the Ice Mountain at 5:48 pm.
Period XI – The Ice Mountain
Everyone gave their bags to Ms. Christina. Then, the teacher showed the tickets to enter the ride, at 5:53 pm. They were finally allowed at 5:56 pm, waiting in the line to get on. There was a crowd there. After some time, the first to get in the ride was XBGamerX, Apostolos Sig and Vasilios Sta at 5:59 pm. As the coaster started getting up inside the tunnel, everything was cold and the potential was big. That was until it got to the top, where it started speeding up to the max. Adrenaline levels reached spikes and it was only getting faster and faster, turn by turn. It got out of the tunnel in its most extreme part and finished at 6:02 pm, about 3 minutes later. The ride was insane but no one had serious effects later. The last one left the ride at 6:07 pm and got back to where some of the teachers were.
Period XII – Dr. Archibald VR Ride
They soon after tried searching for a VR ride. As they passed through the Bar Hüte at 6:16 pm and later through the Thrill Zone at 6:20 pm, they soon found the ride and sat there at 6:27 pm. Ms. Francis had to check all the tickets at 6:34 pm, where this time, it took more than expected. At last, they got into the rides, at 6:38 pm.
It was not as scary as it looked but it was more about VR experience. At 6:44 pm, it was already over and everyone exited at 6:48 pm. They sat onto a bench at 6:47 pm to relax for a bit.
Pictures taken at 6:27 pm UTC+0 and 6:57 pm UTC+0 respectively showing some of the rides.
Period XIII – Fire Department Fun House
After that, they decided to go onto the next ride. They all got up and as tired as they all were, they had to go, at 6:49 pm. The class walked past the Traditional Funfair at 6:50 pm, then went through the Thrill Zone again at 6:51 pm. Passing through the Bar Hüte at 6:53 pm again, they got somewhat confused, so they had to look on a map.
They found their way however and arrived by the Giant Wheel at 6:56 pm. Ms. Francis then realized how big it was so she asked everyone to go to a different one. They stayed there for a few minutes but they decided to go there anyways. At 7:01 pm, they all sat down in some of the benches there. Then, at 7:08 pm, Ms. Francis called everyone to get ready. Checking the tickets took even more time this time for unknown reasons, mainly because the assistant was checking them one by one. It was 7:13 pm when everyone was able to get in.
As they got in, XBGamerX was among the first again. It seems he was confident with this parkour course. It was not too challenging so he was able to get in the top at 7:18 pm, in just only a few minutes. He soon after got down and got out of the ride successfully at 7:21 pm. Everyone was out by 7:24 pm, succeeding in most of the part.

Period XIV – The Exit
It was time to leave however. Everyone’s feet hurt because of the walking. They started walking at 7:31 pm, trying to find the exit. Finally, after almost 2 hours, they got out of the park, at 7:41 pm. Some others along with Ms. Francis stayed inside in order to get something to eat. Ms. Helen, XBGamerX and Apostolos Sig was among those who were outside waiting, thinking they could not hold their feet anymore. It is possible everyone walked 3,379 ft.
Picture taken at 7:55 pm UTC+0 outside of Hyde Park.
Period XV – The Taxi Back
That was until 7:55 pm where everyone finally came out. Ms. Francis, thinking the bus would come to pick them was a failure, as there was a problem. Instead, she waited for 6 taxis to come and pick everyone up to the hotel.
The first one came at 8:02 pm, the second shortly after came at 8:03 pm, where Ms. Francis left, the third came at 8:07 pm, where they basically picked up Ms. Natalia along with XBGamerX, Apostolos Sig and 3 other boys. Consequently, another came at 8:08 pm and the last ones came at approximately 8:10 pm and 8:15 pm respectively. It took some time for them to reach the hotel, with the one Ms. Natalia was in getting there at 8:53 pm. In total, everyone paid around £17.00. They left everyone about 300 ft from their hotel.
Period XVI – The Possible End
Sometime around 9:00 pm, everyone had arrived to the hotel and went to their compartment. However, as they were waiting to obtain their bags, a surprise was waiting them, Ms. Francis’ son who was in the trip was sick and subsequently got a high fever at the time of their arrival, so she had to measure the temperatures of everyone one by one, which turned out no one was sick. At around 9:10 pm, everyone got their shopping bags nevertheless. XBGamerX then got into Ms. Francis room to deal with a heating problem in his room, at 9:22 pm.
For a total of 10 minutes, Ms. Francis was trying to call the reception but they would not pick it up so he had to go downstairs to report the problem to the staff. It was about 9:36 pm. Soon after, 2 of them came into his room, trying to fix the problem. It took a few minutes all the way to approximately 10:15 pm where they ended up bringing a portable heater later at 10:30 pm.
Finally, after a long way, everyone relaxed and went to sleep the following hours later. It was just another tiring but worthy day.
