Upon downloading Eagle 7.6, I wanted to add an alias to it. Even though ./eagle opens the application, bash eagle results cannot execute binary file error. I tried chmod +x eagle but it didn't help. Downloaded version is the 64 bit version.
That's because eagle is a compiled executable, not a bash script. You are getting confused because you often see bash ./script suggested as a way of running the bash script saved in the text file script. For example:
I at least abbreviate that you sometimes point to it. At lest when it has a feature that is kind of missing in kicad. (It is open source which means anybody can take that part of the code and create an eagle importer with it for any other system. Assuming the licenses of both projects are compatible.)
ahhh I see,,, see I am a mobile imager,,, I have no choice but to use a laptop in the field,,, the eagle & clones wouldn't serve to much use for me,,, unless I hide in the vehicle from skeeters or bears,,,,
Just to provide some more info, I'm building Eagle with yaourt, and the libs that were necessary all installed without a single issue.
I've tried removing and reinstalling eagle, but it still doesn't work.
the problems is that eagle looks for the 32bit version of libjpeg in the /usr/lib instead of /opt/lib32/usr/lib
eagle seems to work with libjpeg7, the only problem is the name (and location) of the file : if we can tell eagle to use /opt/lib32/usr/lib/libjpeg.so it will work...
I don't like my solution (i.e. symlinking a 32bit lib in the 64bit directory) and was looking to the PKGBUILD of eagle to solve this issue in a cleaner way. But I did not find how to do this :s

DCS:A-10C is a 64-bit program (with a 32-but executable and runtime available in the installer), therefore it installs in the 64-bit area. DCS:BS and FC2 were 32-bit, so they installed into the (x86) one.
And in which folder it goes if you select to install the 32-bit executable on the 64-bit Windows? Just thought that we should get all the angles covered.. ;) (and am envious as I'm on the far side of the planet currently so I'm struggling to download the damn thing)
I don't have them installed, but in the beta iirc it was also installed in 'program files' (i.e. 64-bit), but with an additional, seperate folder within the DCS A10 folder for the 32-bit binaries etc.
Did you try install New drivers Adrenalin 21.3.2? I cant See any difference. I still have shuttering in games.. I think to gigabyte should relase New bios for rx 6700 xt eagle. Maybe wrong bios is the problem.
If you are trying to install 32-bit old version of Cadsoft Eagle (such as version 7.5 as in my example) in your 64-bit Lubuntu/Ubuntu 18.04 system, it is highly possible that you will experience library dependency problems.

Eagle Dynamics has released some games in a 64-bit version, which requires a 64-bit DLL to interface with FaceTrackNoIR. Mind you: FaceTrackNoIR is not 64-bit itself (yet), but it can still work, because a shared memory-mapping was used.
