XEVO Player respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the application collects, uses, and protects information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

XEVO Player is primarily an offline video player. We do not collect personal information such as your name, phone number, or address directly.

However, the app may access or collect limited information including:

Video files stored on your device (for playback functionality)
Device information such as device model, Android version, and app performance data
Advertising identifiers for personalized or non-personalized ads
Purchase status for premium features or subscriptions
Crash logs and analytics data to improve app stability

2. Permissions Used

Storage Permission: To scan and play video files stored on your device.
Internet Permission: For IPTV streaming, online video playback, ads, and updates.
Foreground Service Permission: To support background playback and media controls.
Notification Permission: To show playback controls and media notifications.
Biometric Permission: To provide secure access to your Private Vault using fingerprint or face unlock.

3. Private Vault & Encryption

XEVO Player includes a Private Vault feature that allows you to hide and encrypt videos. When you move a video to the vault:

The file is moved to the app's internal private storage, making it invisible to other applications and the system gallery.
The file is encrypted using industry-standard AES-256 encryption.
Access is protected by a 4-digit PIN, biometric authentication (if enabled), and a unique Master Recovery Key.

Note: All encryption keys and authentication data are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your vault contents, PIN, or Recovery Key. If you lose both your PIN and Recovery Key, your encrypted data cannot be recovered by us.

4. Advertising

XEVO Player uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use certain data, including advertising IDs, device information, and interaction data to provide personalized or non-personalized ads.

5. In-App Purchases

XEVO Player may offer premium features or subscriptions through Google Play Billing. Payments and purchase processing are securely handled by Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment card details.

6. IPTV & Online Streaming

XEVO Player does not provide IPTV channels, streaming services, or hosted media content. Users are responsible for the content they stream or access through URLs or IPTV playlists.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Limited data may be shared with trusted service providers such as:

Google AdMob
Google Play Billing
Firebase Analytics or Crash Reporting Services

8. Security

We use advanced cryptographic measures (including hardware-backed Keystore and device-specific salting) to help protect your Private Vault and app functionality. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

9. Children's Privacy

XEVO Player is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
