Privacy Policy for XDoc/ XDcoument Scanner

This Privacy Policy describes how NeoQubix("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with your use of the XDoc(XDocument Scanner) application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with Google Play's Developer Program Policies.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information Processed On-Device

XDoc/ XDocument Scanner  provides features such as document scanning, PDF generation, and Optical Character Recognition (OCR). 

- Camera and Images: The App requires access to your device's camera and photo gallery to scan documents and extract text. 

- Storage: The App requires access to your device's storage to save and retrieve PDF files.

Important: All document scanning, OCR processing (powered by Google ML Kit), and PDF generation are performed locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or transmit your documents, images, or extracted text to our servers.

B. Automatically Collected Information

When you use the App, we and our third-party service providers may automatically collect certain information, including:

- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.

- Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App (e.g., features used, session duration).

- Diagnostic Data: Crash reports and performance metrics.

- Advertising Identifiers: Android Advertising ID to serve personalized or non-personalized advertisements.

2. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, provide analytics, and serve advertisements. These services operate under their own privacy policies:

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the automatically collected information to:

- Provide, maintain, and improve the App.

- Monitor and analyze usage and trends to enhance user experience.

- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues (e.g., fixing bugs via Crashlytics).

- Serve advertisements via Google AdMob to keep the App free.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share automatically collected data with our third-party service providers (as listed above) solely for the purposes of analytics, app performance monitoring, and advertising. We may also disclose information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

5. Data Security and Retention

We value your trust in providing us with your information. While no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, the data collected by our third-party services is encrypted in transit. Since user-generated content (documents, PDFs) remains entirely on your device, you have complete control over its retention and deletion. 

6. User Control and Data Deletion

Since we do not require user accounts or store personal data on our servers:

- Local Data: You can delete all your scanned documents and PDFs directly within the App or by using your device's file manager. Uninstalling the App will also remove locally stored App data.

- Advertising: You can opt-out of personalized advertising by navigating to your device's Google Settings > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization (or resetting your advertising ID).

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete this from our servers (or request our third-party providers to do so).

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
