National History of the XCP and Major Events
The XCP is situated on the Hong Kong archipelago, bordered by the Western Union and sharing administrative regions with the White Lotus Republic (WLR). The main peninsula is surrounded by water on three sides.
The XCP was founded following the separation of Hong Kong Island from the former British independence movement after a civil war, dividing the main peninsula.
Government Type: Democratic Capitalist City-State/Country with support from Xavoria and highly autonomous control.
Capital: Victoria Harbour – Kowloon Peninsula region
Population: 1.8 – 2.5 Million
Notable Regions:
Kowloon Peninsula
Hong Kong Island
Gold Coast City (Sai Kung East)
Yuen Long City
Argyle City (Semi-Autonomous City-State)
Early Foundations (1066–1600s)
The origins of the XCP trace back to 1066, established by Japanese invaders. The settlement stretched from Yuen Long to Tai Lam, supporting roughly 150,000 people, and became a thriving regional center.
French Invasion and the Great Walling (1620s)
In the 1620s, French forces invaded the territory, destroying the Tsuen Wan ports. In response, the reigning dynasty constructed a defensive wall with fortified gates around the capital and concealed a key national artifact beneath the castle.
Trade Expansion and the Thousand-Day Conflict (1760s)
By the 1760s, Britain initiated trade relations, contributing to a period of prosperity. This lasted 27 years until Britain invaded French-held areas, leading to the Thousand-Day Conflict and the fall of the city.
British Rule and Decline (Late 1700s–1870)
The British governed the region for 150 years. The original city faded, and the civil war of 1870 devastated the Tsuen Wan port, leaving only a small British settlement and eventually causing the formation of the Western Union.
Civil War and the Rise of the Xavorian Democratic State (1870)
Tensions within British-controlled territories erupted into civil war between the British colonial administration and the emerging independence movement, the Xavorian Joint Force. Supported by the Xavorian National Front, the force captured strategic positions, including Whampoa Turret Ground and Nathan Road, forcing British retreat to western Kowloon.
This led to a division of territories:
The XCP: governed by a democratic Xavorian administration
The Western Union: monarchist traditions with some communist policies
French Invasion (1620s): Disruption of coastal ports, construction of defensive walls, and protection of dynastic artifacts.
Thousand-Day War (1760s): Conflict following British expansion, ending centuries of dynastic rule and establishing British control for 150 years.
XCP War of Independence (1870–1890s): Coordinated insurgency by the Xavorian National Front and Xavorian Joint Force that ended British authority and established a democratic XCP.
Civil War Phase (1870): Internal unrest split the territory between pro-democratic and pro-monarchist factions.
Xavorian Uprising and Major Campaigns: Included key victories at Whampoa Turret Ground and Battles of Nathan Road, consolidating XCP control.
Outcome: Formation of a democratic XCP and a monarchist Western Union, creating an enduring ideological divide.
Propaganda Conflict (1960s–Present): Long-term ideological struggle with the Western Union, focusing on media, culture, and education rather than direct military action.
The XCP occupies a coastal peninsula with surrounding islands, extending from northern plains to hilly and mountainous regions. It is bordered by the Western Union and opens to the sea on the south, east, and west.
