None of the above suggestions worked as of July 2018, though the following link (developer access required) should do the trick for OS X 10.6.8 (using the v1.1 updater from Software Update): _Tools/xcode_3.2.2_developer_tools_beta_20728/xcode322_2148_developerdvd.dmg

I just tried to upgrade my xcode tools on my mac running 10.5.8, but I didn't realize that the latest version of xcode will only run on snow leopard. I can't find the older version of xcode that would work on my work machine. Where can I get a leopard compatible version of xcode?

I have Mac OS 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard). It runs smooth, without problems, and I don't want to upgrade it to Lion, or Mountain Lion. I have on it xcode 3.2.6, but I want newer version (4.2) But I haven't paid Developer Program. Does anyone have that file and can sent me a link? If yes, I will appreciate it.

Next, open a terminal, run xcode-select --install, and click the Install button to install the required command line developer tools. Don't worry if you see a message telling you the software cannot be installed because it is not currently available from the Software Update Server. This usually means you already have the latest version installed. You can also get the command line tools from the Apple developer website.

I'm a Windows/ Linux guy, but I've owned a couple of macs in the past. I also program in a couple of languages for a living. I'd like to get started with trying my hand at building some apps for IOS, and it seems like xcode is the best bet.

My question is: should I drop the extra cash for the m1 mac mini, or will the last generation Intel machines still be supported with xcode for the next few years at least? Local second hand prices have the Intel machines at half the price of the m1 models, and I can double the ram on them easily enough.

I have had problems with projects using cocoa too(having 6 files). No idea what is causing the problem I have 3 GB RAM. Distributed build is enabled and none of our machines(macs) have anti-virus installed on them. It looks like Xcode has taken step back after some great improvements on leopard.

I like the command line. Can I use an earlier version of ifort with my license number? What version do I need to use to avoid having to have Xcode? Is this available anywhere for Max OS 10.5 (leopard) ?

This release uses Xcode 14.2/14.3 and GNU Fortran 12.2. If you wish to compile R packages which contain Fortran code, you may need to download the corresponding GNU Fortran compiler from -project.org/tools. Any external libraries and tools are expected to live in /opt/R/arm64 (Apple silicon) or /opt/R/x86_64 (Intel).

I am trying to set up an Ad Hoc network between my PC running Vista and my Macbook running Leopard. It's not just the Ad Hoc network though. I have Visual Studio Developer Express and SQL Studio Express running on the PC. When I launch a web service on localhost from Visual Studio, I want the Mac to be able to access the web service on my pc (localhost). I am accessing the web service on the mac through the iphone simulator in xcode. 2351a5e196
