Xbox Game Pass
Xbox Game Pass offers four ways to play in 2026: Essential, Premium, Ultimate, and PC Game Pass. Whether you want a low-cost entry point, a broader all-platform library, or day-one access to major releases, there’s a plan built for your playstyle. Microsoft’s current Game Pass materials show all four plans, with in-game benefits now available across the lineup.
Choose the Xbox Game Pass plan that fits how you play
Xbox Game Pass Essential — $9.99/month
Best for players who want a lower-cost entry into the Game Pass ecosystem. Essential includes 50+ games across Xbox console, PC, and supported devices, plus online console multiplayer, game streaming, in-game benefits, and the ability to earn up to $25 per year in Store rewards. It does not include day-one releases.
Xbox Game Pass Premium — $14.99/month
Premium is built for players who want a broader library and more flexibility without jumping to the highest tier. It includes 200+ games across console, PC, and supported devices, streaming with shorter wait times, online console multiplayer, in-game benefits, and up to $50 per year in Store rewards. Premium does not include day-one titles, but Microsoft says new Xbox-published games join within 12 months of launch, excluding Call of Duty.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate — top-tier all-platform access — $22.99/month
Ultimate is the most complete Game Pass option. Microsoft lists 500+ games, day-one releases, best-quality streaming with the shortest wait times, online console multiplayer, in-game benefits, EA Play, Ubisoft+ Classics, Fortnite Crew, and the ability to earn up to $100 per year in Store rewards. It’s the strongest fit for players who want the full Xbox ecosystem across console, PC, and cloud.
PC Game Pass — $13.99/month
PC Game Pass remains its own separate plan for players who game primarily on Windows. Microsoft’s current U.S. store pages show $13.99/month, with hundreds of PC games, day-one releases, EA Play, in-game benefits, and up to $50 per year in Store rewards. It’s the cleanest choice for PC-only players who want day-one access without paying for a full console-and-cloud bundle.
Which plan is right for you?
Choose Essential if you want the lowest-cost option with multiplayer and a smaller curated library. Choose Premium if you want a bigger catalog and cloud access without paying for the top tier. Choose Ultimate if you want day-one games, premium partner perks, and the most complete cross-platform experience. Choose PC Game Pass if you mainly play on PC and want day-one releases plus EA Play.
