President's Message

Greetings Alumni and Friends of Xavier University of Louisiana

Erica Morgan-Taylor, MBA Atlanta Alumni Chapter President. I am excited to serve you as President and look forward to progressing the chapter.

I am from St. Louis, MO, my journey began in August, 1989. My experience at Xavier was full of personal challenges and struggle. Overall, I learned resilience, support of people who are not apart of my family of origin, dedication of the faculty and staff that helped grow my confidence and anything is possible mentality.

After graduation one of my personal goals was to find ways to support students like me.

As President my goals are as follows

• Support Students by raising money for scholarship

• Engage alumni from Georgia and South Carolina

• Expand the Friends of Xavier (FOX) network

• Build a network of Xavier University of Louisiana Alumni Businesses, Products, Services and Physician, Dentist Providers etc. (whether employed providers or private practice}. We are building a network via the NEW membership option. Membership plus Gold and White Directory

• Expand Fundraising efforts

• Support our University
