When you use XAPK Installer Pro to install a `.xapk` file, the following steps occur locally on your device:

1.  **Temporary Copy (if needed):** For certain file types (e.g., accessed via the Storage Access Framework), a temporary copy of the `.xapk` may be created in the App's private cache directory to ensure reliable extraction.

2.  **Extraction:** The App extracts the contents of the `.xapk` file (which typically include the base `.apk`, split `.apk` files, and `.obb` data files) into a private, temporary folder within the App's own storage (`ExtractedXapk`).

3.  **OBB File Placement:** If `.obb` files are present, the App moves them to the public `Android/obb` directory, which is the standard location required by Android for them to function correctly.

4.  **Installation:** The App then initiates the installation of the `.apk` files using the standard Android system installer.

5.  **Cleanup:** The temporary files and the extracted folder created by the App are deleted after the process is complete to free up space.

**At no point during this process is any file content or metadata sent off your device.**
