Hello and welcome to my website. Thank you for visiting!
I am a postdoctoral research associate at the Institute of Economics at the University of Bamberg, working at the Chair of Empirical Microeconomics. I did my PhD in Economics at the Department of Economics at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) under the supervision of Prof. Paul Sharp.
My research interest lies within the areas of economic history and applied economics, with a focus on development, gender and labour. A strand of my research investigates the effects of a political conflict in Greece on female labour force participation during the 1940s.
I visited the Department of Economics at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) in June 2025. I spent the Spring 2019 as a visiting scholar at the Department of Economics at the University of Arizona in Tucson AZ, where I visited Prof. Price Fishback.
I am interested in everything related to gender economics. Please contact me if you would like to start a collaboration.
