I am a postdoctoral researcher at Goethe University Frankfurt. I obtained my Ph.D. in Financial Economics at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
My research focuses on empirical asset pricing and financial intermediation, with applications in sustainable finance.

We analyze a tightening in the Equator Principles (EP) that introduced comprehensive climate risk management requirements for loans to environmentally-sensitive projects. We do not observe that the project finance market - a key market for the development of energy and infrastructure projects - becomes greener after the EP update.

Heterogeneous beliefs about climate risk affect long-horizon portfolio choice. At the 20-year horizon, the equity allocations of a Bayesian investor who account for climate risk through prior beliefs are eight percentage points lower than those of a similar investor who is skeptical of climate change.
