X Album respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information X Album accesses and collects, why it is used, and the choices available to users.
X Album requests access to the user’s photo library so the user can organize, sort, group, review, and create content from photos stored on the device.
Photos and photo-library information are used to provide X Album’s photo-management features.
X Album does not upload the user’s personal photos or videos to the developer’s CloudKit database or to third-party advertising or analytics services.
When iCloud and CloudKit are available, X Album may collect and store the following information using Apple CloudKit:
A pseudonymous CloudKit user identifier
The identifier of the app being used
Optional age, sex, and five-digit ZIP code information supplied by the user
App activity, such as app openings and feature usage
Survey activity and optional survey answers
Information about promotional ads displayed, clicked, dismissed, or otherwise interacted with
Dates associated with usage, survey, and advertising events
X Album does not request or collect the user’s name, email address, phone number, Apple ID credentials, precise location, contacts, or photo contents through this CloudKit system.
The collected information may be used to:
Operate and improve X Album
Understand how the app and its features are used
Maintain an optional profile across participating apps operated by the same developer
Determine eligibility for optional surveys
Select relevant in-app promotional campaigns
Count promotional impressions and clicks
Enforce campaign dates and impression limits
Evaluate general app and campaign performance
A pseudonymous CloudKit identifier may connect profile and activity information across apps operated by the same developer that use the shared CloudKit container.
Providing age, sex, ZIP code, and survey answers is optional.
Users may select “Not now” instead of completing the demographic profile or a survey. The app’s primary photo-organization features remain available without providing this optional information.
When CloudKit is available, basic app-usage and promotional-interaction events may be recorded automatically.
X Album may display in-house or developer-managed promotional campaigns.
Optional demographic information may be used to determine whether a user is eligible to see a campaign. X Album does not analyze the contents of the user’s photos for advertising purposes.
X Album does not use the Apple advertising identifier, third-party advertising networks, or tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies.
Cloud information is stored using Apple CloudKit.
Although the system uses a shared CloudKit public database, access to profile, usage, and survey-response records is restricted through CloudKit security permissions. The developer may access stored information when necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and evaluate the service.
Reasonable technical measures are used to protect stored information. However, no electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.
X Album does not sell or rent user information.
Information is not shared with outside advertisers or data brokers. Apple processes and stores CloudKit information as the cloud-service provider.
Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, protect users, investigate misuse, or protect the security and operation of the service.
Cloud profile information is retained while the shared app platform remains active or until deletion is requested.
Usage, survey, and promotional-interaction records may be retained while reasonably necessary for analytics, campaign reporting, security, and operation of the service.
Users may request deletion of their CloudKit profile, usage events, survey responses, and associated promotional-interaction information by contacting the developer at the email address below.
Some information may be retained when required by law, necessary for security or fraud prevention, or maintained temporarily in backups.
Children under 13 should not submit the optional demographic profile or survey responses.
If a parent or legal guardian believes that information associated with a child under 13 has been stored by X Album, they may contact the developer to request its deletion.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when X Album’s features or data practices change. The updated policy will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.
