In the following section you will find some helpful logistical information to join the event on-site face-to-face at the Wellcome Genome Campus.
Venue
The symposium will take place in the Francis Crick Auditorium at the Conference Centre, located on the Wellcome Genome Campus; 10 miles (16 km) south of Cambridge, alongside the village of Hinxton. It is 30km from London Stansted airport. We are served by two local railway stations, and are situated close to Junction 10 of the M11 motorway. Full travel instructions on how to reach us can be found on the Conference Centre website.
Free shuttle buses from Whittlesford Parkway, Great Chesterford and Cambridge railway stations to the Campus operate on a first-come-first-served basis and have limited operating times. Please see ‘Travelling by train’ on ‘How to find us’ for details and the timetable.
Accessibility
A full guide on the accessibility of the campus is available. Please indicate during registration if you have any accessibility adaptations or requests we should be aware of and we will be in touch. Additional access information for the conference centre is available.
On arrival
If you arrive by private car, you may proceed straight to the gatehouse barrier, where you will be directed to an appropriate car park. Please contact us in advance for a parking permit.
If you are being dropped off in the reception area (by lift or taxi) you should report to the Visitor Reception where you will be signed in and directed to the Conference Centre.
