I'm a linguistics PhD student at the University of Maryland, where I'm advised by Professors Omar Agha and Valentine Hacquard. I primarily work on pragmatics and language acquisition, with a specific interest in the types of inferences listeners are and aren't willing to make during conversation. I also do work in the acquisition of semantics as part of UMD's Project on Children's Language Learning.
I grew up in Rochester, NY (pictured left) and received my linguistics BA from McGill University in 2024.
