Submissions

Authors can submit their papers through Easy Chair here. 

We have updated our deadlines to accommodate the early registration dates of the conference.


We welcome submissions from various areas of HRI. Participants are encouraged to submit a study that is currently in the design process but may contain weaknesses in the experimental protocol and methodology. We also highly encourage the submission of completed studies as they create an opportunity for self-reflection and potential for improvement of future work. 

The submissions should clearly state the research question and hypotheses (if any). Furthermore, submissions must emphasize the study design and methodology sections (rather than the related work, results or discussion sections), and describe them in detail within 4 pages including figures and references. Finally, the submission should include a dedicated section with inquiries or discussion topics for the mentors regarding the study. 

Submissions will be accepted based on the detail of the methodology section, the originality of the research, and the potential contributions to the field. 

The formats for the submissions are similar to those of the main HRI 2024 conference. Templates are available on the ACM website or directly on Overleaf. When using Overleaf, please ensure that the document uses the “sigconf” document class.
