Following the workshop, we are excited to present a hackathon that will challenge participants to apply their newly acquired skills and go beyond the material covered. It will provide an excellent opportunity to practice and reinforce the knowledge and techniques learned during the workshop. Participants will engage in problem-solving exercises that will test their understanding and ability to integrate and analyze complex data sets.Â
Application of Knowledge: Demonstrate understanding and application of analysis techniques learned during the workshop.
Innovation and Creativity: Apply novel approaches and methods to analyze the provided data.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively in teams, leveraging each member's strengths.
Problem-Solving Skills: Approach the problems methodically, showing the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Hackathon Rules
Team Composition: Each team should consist of 3-4 members.
Data Usage: Teams must use the datasets provided for the hackathon.
Time Frame: The hackathon will start at [8 am on 14th June] and end at [5 pm on 15th June].
Code and Documentation: Teams must submit their code and present their work as a brief report showcasing their methodology, findings, and any innovative approaches used.
Original Work: All work must be original and created during the hackathon. Plagiarism will result in disqualification.
Support: A support channel will be available for participants to ask questions or seek clarifications during the hackathon.
Judging Criteria
Technical Accuracy (30%): Accuracy and correctness of the analysis.
Innovation (30%): Creativity and novelty of the approach used in analyzing the data.
Team Collaboration (5%): Effective teamwork and division of labor.
Presentation (10%): Clarity and comprehensiveness of the final report and code documentation.
Relevance (20%): How well the solution addresses the given problems and goes beyond the workshop material.
