Does HISD provide after school care for Pre-K students?
Yes. Contact the Boys and Girls Club of Rusk County for more information.
What are the age requirements for Pre-K?
A 3-year old must turn 3 on or before September 1, 2023. A 4-year old must turn 4 on or before September 1, 2023.
Will transportation be provided for Pre-K?
Transportation is provided for 4-year old students. It is not provided for 3-year old students.
Is tuition based Pre-K offered for 3-year olds?
Yes!
Will breakfast and lunch be provided for all Pre-K students?
Yes. Breakfast and lunch is provided for no extra cost to you.
