Steps for enrollment in the 2022-2023 School Year

  1. Complete Henderson ISD online enrollment process.

  2. Then contact the Wylie Primary office to determine your child's Pre-K eligibility.

What do you Need for Enrollment?

  1. Child's Certified Birth Certificate

  2. Child's Social Security Card

  3. Parent/Guardian's Driver's License

  4. Proof of Residency

  5. Child's Complete Immunization Records

Programs and Classes

Programs are full day

  • ECSE for 3 and 4 year old students

  • Free Pre-K for qualifying 3-year old students (limited seating)

  • Free Pre-K for qualifying 4-year old students

  • Tuition based Pre-K for 3 and 4-year olds of HISD employees and Henderson community

Does HISD provide after school care for Pre-K students?

Yes. Contact the Boys and Girls Club of Rusk County for more information.

What are the age requirements for Pre-K?

A 3-year old must turn 3 on or before September 1, 2022. A 4-year old must turn 4 on or before September 1, 2022.

Will transportation be provided for Pre-K?

Transportation is provided for 4-year old students. It is not provided for 3-year old students.

Is tuition based Pre-K offered for 3-year olds?

Yes!

Will breakfast and lunch be provided for all Pre-K students?

Yes. Breakfast and lunch is provided for no extra cost to you.
