A free, online decision support tool (DST) that integrates the most up-to-date, large-scale information on Golden Eagle distribution in Wyoming. The DST enables users to visually explore the distribution of eagle habitat in Wyoming, and can help users prioritize areas based on Golden Eagle habitat values.
The Working Group participates in the development of standardized methods to survey the nests of Golden Eagles and other raptors for activity. More information, including template datasheets, can be accessed via the Wyoming Natural Diversity Database.
Voluntary guidance developed by the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) for wind energy projects in Wyoming and elsewhere in Region 6. The latest recommendations (version 4.0 revised Dec 2022) are available from the USFWS.
