Ye Hu is an accomplished clarinetist and dedicated music educator with a rich background in solo, orchestral, and chamber performance. She has appeared with esteemed ensembles such as the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra, Glens Falls Symphony Orchestra, Berkshire Opera Festival, Saratoga-Schenectady Symphony Orchestra, and the, Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra. Her orchestral artistry was highlighted as Principal Clarinet at the renowned Bard Music Festival, and she frequently collaborates in chamber music settings throughout the Northeast.
Ye’s performance experience is supported by a strong academic foundation. She received her Bachelor of Music in Clarinet Performance from the New England Conservatory in 2016, followed by her Master of Music from NEC in 2018. She then completed her orchestral fellowship with The Orchestra Now (TŌN) at Bard College, earning a second master’s degree in 2021.
