About Me

Will McDonald is a Brooklyn-based writer whose work has appeared in The Village Voice and Bushwick Daily

He is currently in the MFA Creative Writing and Publishing program at Long Island University, where he studies under writers Robin Hemley, Rita Banerjee, Erin Stalcup, and Zaina Arafat.

He is the founder of the Sundae Saturdays Pitch Workshop in Brooklyn and Managing Editor for Defunct Magazine. 

Aside from his literary pursuits, Will writes and performs sketch, stand-up, and improvisational comedy.
