Sally regularly explores themes involving water through oceans, reflections and water ripples. She seeks out beaches, dams, slow creeks, ponds and lakes to find her inspiration, throwing rocks in water to create ripples and searching for just the right imagery to adapt to her paintings.
Sally also creates bee paintings as a reminder to herself, and to others, of the fragility of our world. She admires that these small creatures create such beauty in our world: procreating more flowers to grow, pick, and paint; to provide our food source; to be paramount in our co-dependence for our survival.
Sally's art talents are not just limited to water and bees. She also enjoys painting pieces on other subjects such as flowers and animals, as well as creating commissions and other special projects.
