"You don't have to control your thoughts. You just have to stop letting them control you"- Dan Millman
You deserve to feel connected to yourself and others and to live a life that feels balanced and joyful. I believe you have what it takes. It would be my honor to sit with you in your experience of life and to work together to find new ways to navigate, heal and restore.
I want you to gain insight and awareness into what is causing the issues in your life, as well as develop skills to work through them more effectively.
I want you to feel happier and healthier, with the confidence that you can tackle the difficult days and moments when they arise and to feel good about yourself, and the choices you make moving forward in your life, so you can have the most meaningful and fulfilling life that you desire.
Whether you are coming to therapy for support with stress /anxiety, relationship issues, or to tackle symptoms of loneliness and depression, we will work together to find tools that serve you best whether they are thought-based or emotion-based.
We'll start with a brief telephone conversation so that I can get a sense of the kind of support that you are looking for.
I'll ask for some basic information to get to know you, and also use this time to answer any questions that you might have. You would also be required to fill out and sign the confidentiality and agreement form in the first session, which is mandatory before we begin with the therapeutic work.
The first therapeutic session shall be for 90 minutes, after which all follow-up sessions shall be for either 60 or 90 minutes, depending on client's needs.
The length and number of sessions will differ depending on your goals and needs for therapy. For some, a handful of sessions to address an acute issue will be enough, versus others who may need consistent, weekly sessions for months or years, depending on their needs. We can discuss this in further detail to ensure you are receiving the support that you are looking for. However, termination should be determined collaboratively.
I love what I do! Being a therapist is more than a job - it reflects a core part of me that enjoys getting to know people at a real level. The therapy process allows me to have an authentic, face-to-face conversation in an uber-wired world. My career has always been driven by my strong passion for mental health care issues, self-discovery, exploration and healing. If I think of the darkest moments in my life and those around me, I know how powerful it can be to have someone out there supporting you, and encouraging you to be your best and most authentic self.
I often share with my clients that this process is like gifting your mind with the best present it could ever receive. A healthy mind can reward you with peace, joy, happiness, clarity, motivation, purpose, balance, love, etc. The possibilities are endless.
As a counselling psychologist with over a decade of experience, I am dedicated to empowering young girls and women to live better lives. My practice focuses on helping clients build self-worth, enhance self-confidence, establish and maintain healthy boundaries, and navigate complex relationships and marital issues.
Through compassionate and tailored therapeutic approaches, I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where my clients can explore their challenges, discover their strengths, and achieve their personal and emotional goals.
My approach to therapy & counselling is pragmatic. This means that I understand it is not always an easy decision to seek therapy or counselling but I believe each person, including you, have hidden strengths and abilities which have helped you get through life this far and which can help you get through these current difficulties.
When it comes to clientele, I feel most connected to working with women who are navigating challenges such as :
worrying constantly about what will happen next
perfectionism that no longer serves them
societal pressures to ''do it all '' causing them burn-out
It's been an amazing, fulfilling journey for me so far in the private practice world, and I hope to continue walking with people who need support, encouragement, and empowerment in their lives. I consider myself so fortunate to wake up and feel passion in my work with people, and I see myself doing this for a very long time!

My work in the Mental Health field began as an undergraduate student in Psychology. During that time, I completed my internship at a non-profit organization focused on the mental well-being of kids and the reunification of estranged families. The second was at a higher secondary school where I saw children and teens 16 years and under with a variety of mental health issues, including autism, anxiety, conduct disorder, and academic struggles, as well as children coping with grief and loss. It was during this time and through the experiences I had working with these children and their loved ones that I saw the powerful impact that family and environment have on the individual.
During my postgraduate course, I continued to work with adolescents but also with adults, couples, and families in Hospital settings and completed 2500 hours of supervised training.
Following my post-graduate course, I worked as a Counselling Psychologist in different set-ups, including Colleges and Private Hospitals. I have seen adolescents with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, relationship issues, sexual abuse, neglect, self-harm, suicidal ideation/attempt, grief, and loss.
I started my private practice setting in 2020. From supporting young women struggling with low self-esteem and emotional issues to assisting couples in resolving conflicts related to trust issues, infidelity, and communication breakdowns, I am dedicated to helping my clients build healthier and more fulfilling relationships.
I have found this work to be highly rewarding; it has challenged me in different and exciting ways and added to the breadth of my experience.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Counselling is a continuous process where I shall be using a psychological framework to facilitate insight and awareness to help you discover your answers. Each session lasts for approx. 60 minutes. You can start by fixing an initial consultation appointment after which you will be given your next subsequent appointments accordingly after each session, keeping in mind the date and time which suits you and me.
HOW DO I SET UP AN INITIAL APPOINTMENT FOR THE SESSION
You can call or text +91 8494058225 (between 10 am - 8 pm, Monday- Saturday ) to book your session.
Prior bookings for the sessions are mandatory, no walk-ins are entertained.
WHAT HAPPENS IN THE FIRST SESSION?
The first session focuses on broad strokes like what brings you to therapy, your general autobiography, and how the treatment will progress. Expect me to ask you about the specific problem that inspired you to seek therapy, what you hope to achieve throughout treatment, a brief sketch of your life story, and any experience you’ve had in the past. While it’s valuable to be open and transparent about the issues or problems you've faced or are currently dealing with, remember you don’t have to share anything you don’t feel comfortable sharing. It’s ok to go at your own pace.
WHAT TREATMENT MODALITIES DO YOU USE?
The interventions I use will depend on your treatment needs. I primarily utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Solution-focused Therapy.
WILL THE INFORMATION I SHARE BE KEPT A SECRET?
Yes. All the information that you share will be kept confidential. This is an extremely important ethical guideline for me as a counsellor where no information can be disclosed to another person without your consent. Therefore you can be confident that what you share will be kept a secret except in situations where there is a risk of self-harm, harm to others, or child abuse.
WHAT MAKES THERAPY SUCCESSFUL?
The short answer is – YOU. Therapy is a personal step that helps many clients along the way. Your success depends on how open you are to the process. If you are willing to take the time to look within and do the work necessary for change, you will be successful. Also going to therapy might feel difficult on some days. But, it is important to attend each session and complete any homework assigned. Being patient and sticking to the treatment plan can facilitate long-term success in therapy
HOW LONG WILL THERAPY TAKE ?
It is difficult to estimate the length of counselling sessions because each person’s situation is unique. The first two sessions with your therapist will be an evaluative period during which you can discuss your issues, goals and expectations. There are no limits on treatment length or session frequency. However, termination should be determined collaboratively.
HOW MUCH DO I NEED TO PAY ?
The fees will be communicated to you once you fix an appointment. However, you might benefit from knowing that the cost of counselling will be fair and reasonable.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. All late cancellations and rescheduling will be charged 500/- (INR)
