When I was growing up, I dreamed of being a professional football player who lived anywhere other than Opelousas. I spent the summer of 1974 tearing down an old barn to rebuild the inside of my father’s office in exchange for legal work for a family in need. Afterwards, I realized I had the necessary tools to continue his legacy of helping the hard-working members of my community at a fair price. I practiced law in Lake Charles from 1987 until 1993. When my father retired and was going to close the doors that my great grandfather had opened, I remembered my true calling. I’ve been practicing in my hometown for almost 30 years and am looking forward to continuing to provide legal guidance, at a fair price, for many more years.
