My name is Mariana, and I have been a tattoo artist for almost 10 years. I was born and raised in Argentina, in a small city called Junín. Art and drawing have always been a passion of mine, but for many years they were simply hobbies while I worked as a physical education teacher. It wasn’t until the age of 36 that I picked up a tattoo machine for the first time—and at 46, I can confidently say this is what I truly love to do.
My journey began in Junín, where I started tattooing under the guidance of a mentor with more than 20 years of experience. I worked there from the very beginning until 2018, when I started traveling as a guest artist to different countries. That year, I spent a month working in Barcelona before heading to Leeds, England, where I joined Rude Studio—a place that holds a very special place in my heart. I stayed there for nine months before moving on to Spain once again, this time to Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, where I worked in several studios on that beautiful island for a year.
When I returned to Argentina, I opened my own studio, which I ran from late 2019 until the end of 2023. At that point, I moved to the United States and spent nine wonderful months at Lucky Buddha Tattoo in Citrus Heights, California—another studio that became part of my story and my heart.
For the past year and a half, I’ve been living in San Antonio, Texas, with my family—and this time, it feels like home forever. San Antonio has captured the rest of my heart, and it’s here that I’m continuing my journey, creating custom tattoo pieces and helping my clients bring their own unique ideas to life.
