At Grand Isle School, I worked to add leadership responsibilities to my day by becoming the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) coordinator for the building. I worked with a team of educators to build interventions and goals for students who need extra support beyond initial classroom instruction. These supports were behavioral and social emotional, in addition to academic.

After earning my Masters degree, I worked as an Assistant Principal in Essex and Dean of Students at Milton Elementary School in order to gain experience as an administrator. I had the opportunity six years ago to join the Burlington School District Leadership Team and was placed as the Assistant Principal at Lyman C. Hunt Middle School and then as Principal for the past 5 years. While at Hunt Middle School, I co-created with my staff the HMS Philosophy of Teaching and Learning and common understanding of engagement. We worked together to create a block of time that focused on intervention/extension of learning to reduce the amount of times students were being pulled out of primary instruction.

Mr. Malmberg has twenty years in education planning, developing, and implementing state of the art information solutions facilitating growth. Prior to joining Innovative Arts Academy Erik worked for Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit as their IT Manager, and then moved on to Southern Lehigh School District as their Director of Technology. During his tenure with SLSD they became a National Template for 1-1 schools, credited by Apple, Google, and several Government Agencies. Mr. Malmberg is looking forward to helping facilitate growth for the staff and students of IAA.

Ernest Batha has served schools and districts for the last 26 years in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, teaching students from preschool through high school. He has also taught undergraduate courses for 8 years as an adjunct professor for Fairleigh Dickinson University. Prior to joining the IAA Leadership Team Ernest served as a Principal for the Great Meadows Regional, Lebanon Township, and Flemington-Raritan School Districts. While in Great Meadows Ernest championed the district's move to full-day Kindergarten and one-to-one rollout of technology while also serving as the Federal Grants Coordinator. In Lebanon Township Ernest streamlined the Intervention and Referral Service procedures to help expedite and improve targeted interventions. Ernest joined Innovative Arts in 2018 with a focus on improving the quality of instruction students receive while further enhancing the standards of excellence demonstrated by teachers and staff.

Assists more experienced technicians or engineers on various and multiple assignments but will assume more independence as basic technical knowledge and experience is acquired. Applies basic technical knowledge and limited experience to accomplish tasks. Receives formal and on-the-job instruction in engineering, mechanical, and electronics fundamentals, Federal Aviation Administration Procedures, and technical publications as they apply to assigned organization or discipline.
