About FRIC

Fikra Refugees Initiative Community Organization was established by refugees and host community members who recognized the urgent social and economic challenges affecting urban refugees and vulnerable families in Uganda.

FRIC was created as a response to increasing levels of poverty, unemployment, school dropout, domestic violence, lack of vocational skills, social exclusion, and limited access to opportunities among refugees and vulnerable host communities.

Through community-driven solutions, FRIC provides free training, empowerment programs, psychosocial support, and livelihood opportunities that help individuals become self-reliant and productive members of society.

Our organization believes that empowering one individual creates positive change for families, communities, and future generations.
