Seasonal rental house on North Road available for summer 2026, minimum one week Sunday to Sunday.
This post and beam house style barn structure offers a quirky blend of old country farmhouse vibe - furnished with log furniture, antiques, collectibles, and artwork…sprinkled with a touch of LL Bean.
The spacious kitchen has a 15 foot long solid oak bar that surrounds the area, which also features a copper countertop. Fully equipped for cooking. This kitchen is best characterized by colorful Fiesta Ware dishes and cast iron frypans. Special cooking requests? Ask your hosts. Start your morning with a choice of French Press coffee, drip coffee maker, or try out the stove top percolator. The fridge is oversized to hold a week of groceries.
This open concept house has plenty of space. The center section of the house rises to a 24 foot high ceiling. The first floor offers plenty of areas to gather together: at the kitchen bar, around the dining table, or settle into a cozy place to read a book, play a game or stretch out on the VLC (very large couch) for tv viewing.
There are two spacious loft bedrooms upstairs in the front and back of the house, each bedroom has separate stairs. The MBR has a queen bed featuring a sleep number mattress with extra memory foam padding. And a tv (which can easily covered up for digital detoxing). This is the space where you can curl up in the Grandmotherly green velvet wing chair. The MBR is accessed by a spiral staircase.
The upstairs back loft bedroom is accessed by the “rope sided stairs”. Furnished with a set of pine log beds, crazy antler rack, two bureaus. Fall asleep while looking up at the open post and beam ceiling. Through this room there is a hidden door to a single twin bed in the central loft. (another quirky feature of the house). A maximum of five guests IF using the quirky twin bed.

Because there was so much snow on the ground when the interior pics were taken, so check back again later since the photos will be updated later in the spring.
Because there washer/dryer were moved to the middle of the bathroom when the pipes were drained in the fall. Again, check back later in the spring.
