strength training workout to music with free weights includes Yoga & Pilates. Routine based on the Instructor's successful experience with the Strong Bones Program, considered the gold standard for treating and even reversing osteoporosis and arthritis, as written up in the
Journal of American Medical Association & elsewhere. Includes qigong & standing yoga flow warm up; upper and lower body strength training with weights; and yin yoga stretches for cool down. Bring to class hand weights (3-5 lbs to start), adjustable 5 lb. ankle weights (all Pro, for example), yoga mat, block, strap, resistance band & quality memory foam garden kneeler or similar protection. Wear layered flexible clothing, sneakers. Can be taught without floor work, as needed.
