How do I Sign in to BBC iPlayer on My Computer, Mobile or Tablet?
Click on Sign In at the top left, next to the BBC logo
Enter the email address and password you used to set up your BBC account
Click Sign in. You'll be sent back to the page you were on before you signed in.
On the Mobile or Tablet App
You'll be asked to sign in as soon as you open the app. So first, tap Sign in.
Type in the email address and password you set up for your BBC account
Tap Sign in. You're good to go!
How do I Sign in to BBC iPlayer on My TV?
A BBC account. You can use your existing one. If you don’t already have one you can register by going to bbc.com/account/tv.
A second device such as a mobile, tablet or computer. This is where you'll enter the code shown on your TV.
We’re aware of some reports from viewers stating they have nowhere to enter the code when attempting to sign in on a TV. This is currently under investigation.
If this affects you then go to the following address bbc.com/account/tv on your mobile/ tablet/ computer as an alternative, after you have obtained the eight digit code on your TV.
Here's what you need to do.
Open the BBC iPlayer application on your TV and select Sign In. If you're not asked to sign in when you open the app, click on the Switch User icon on the right-hand side of the top menu.
On your mobile / tablet / computer, go to www.bbc.com/account/tv. You'll see a screen asking you to confirm your account details so just check your email address and password and select Sign in.
You'll now see a screen on your mobile / tablet / computer saying "Enter the code shown on your TV". Enter the activation code that appears on your TV screen, then select Sign in on your TV.
Wait a few seconds for your TV to catch up, and then you're done! You're now signed in on your TV.
