About Our Short-Term Stay Cabins

Looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay during your visit? We have three charming small cabins available for short-term stays, perfect for a relaxing weekend or a quick getaway. Each cabin includes everything you need to feel right at home: a fully equipped kitchen with dishes, pots, and pans, a dining table, TV, heating and air conditioning. Outside, you'll find a fire ring and picnic table—great for enjoying meals or evenings under the stars.

All cabins share access to a clean and welcoming bathhouse located nearby. The bathhouse features separate men's and women's sides, with private locking doors for your comfort and privacy. Whether you're here to unwind or explore, our cabins offer a peaceful and practical place to rest.

Cabin Information & What to Bring 

Check-in time is 3:00 PM, and check-out time is 11:00 AM.

To help make your stay comfortable, please note that guests are required to bring the following items:

• Linens (sheets, blankets, towels, washcloths, etc.)

• Soap and toiletries for showering

• Firewood for campfires (people around the Poe Valley area do sell firewood if you do not want to pack your own to bring with you)

• Food and condiments

How to Book a Cabin 

Guests may reserve a cabin by calling 814-521-5280 or by completing the reservation request form located below. To check availability, please click on the calendar icon next to each cabin description.

*Please note: Reservations are not considered final until a family member from Vacation Acres has contacted you directly to confirm your booking.

Cabin Details

This cozy cabin features an L-shaped open floor plan with a set of single bunk beds and a full-size bed. Conveniently located, it is the closest of all three cabins to the bathhouse. The cabin also includes its own picnic table and fire ring, situated in a shared yard space with Cabin 115 

Cabin 115 is the sister cabin to Cabin 113—they are mirror images of each other. This cozy cabin features an L-shaped open floor plan with a set of single bunk beds and a full-size bed. Situated a bit farther from the bathhouse, this cabin offers a little more space and privacy. Like Cabin 113, it also includes its own picnic table and fire ring in the shared yard space between the two cabins. 

Cabin 151 is the largest of the three cabins at Vacation Acres, offering a semi-open floor plan perfect for families or a few friends gathering.

At the front of the cabin, you’ll find a cozy setup featuring a kitchen, dining table, and a recliner—a comfortable space to relax and enjoy your meals together. Toward the back, the cabin is partitioned into two bedrooms with a dividing wall for added privacy. One bedroom features two single beds, while the other offers a queen-size bed.

Step outside and enjoy the long, covered front porch, perfect for sipping your morning coffee or unwinding in the evening. In the spacious side yard, guests will find a private picnic table and fire ring, with plenty of room to play your favorite yard games or simply relax in nature.

While Cabin 151 offers a bit more seclusion than the other cabins, it is also located closer to Poe Valley Road. Please be mindful of this if you are bringing small children or pets.

Vacation Acres Bathhouse

The Vacation Acres Bathhouse is available for use by all registered guests of Vacation Acres. This shared facility is clean, convenient, and thoughtfully maintained to ensure a comfortable experience for everyone. The bathhouse is exclusively for Vacation Acres guests. Each side has a locking door to provide privacy while in use.

Amenities Provided

To make your stay more convenient, both the men's and women's sides are stocked with:

• Toilet paper

• Hand soap

• Paper towels

Please Note: Guests must bring their own toiletries, washcloths, and towels.

Additional Facility

Please note: If the bathhouse is in use for an extended time (especially during showers), there is a very clean outhouse available with separate men’s and women’s sides. You’ll find it on the right side of Vacation Acres, about halfway up the hill.
