Umbrella Home Services is proud to be celebrating 5 years in business this year! I am excited that I have been able to take care of so many great people over the years and look forward to serving many new customers in the years to come. I provide handyman services in the Austin area including drywall repair, appliance installation, flooring installation, plumbing repairs, electrical work, indoor and outdoor painting, fence installation, furniture assembly, caulking, trim work, and general home repairs. Do you handle small jobs?

Yes! Small jobs and maintenance tasks are my specialty. Whether it's patching a single hole in drywall, installing a ceiling fan, or fixing a leaky faucet, Umbrella Home Services is happy to help with any small to medium size projects.

What areas do you serve?

I serve the Austin metro area including Austin, Round Rock, Pflugerville, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Lakeway, Hutto, Taylor, Manor, Buda, Bee Caves, Lago Vista, and the other towns in the area.

How does pricing work?

I provide free estimates. Before bidding on a job, I will visit with you to discuss your needs, and provide a realistic fixed-price quote. I can often estimate jobs based on photos and a conversation, but for some of the more complex jobs I will need to visit the site in order to get an accurate estimate. Once agreed upon, the price won't change unless the scope of work changes.

Are you licensed and insured?

I am not and if your job would be better served with a company that is, then I will be sure and let you know.

How quickly can you start my project?

Scheduling depends on current projects, but I can typically can provide estimates within a few days and start most jobs within 1-2 weeks. For urgent repairs, I'll do my best to accommodate your timeline. During the summer times I tend to be busier and it could be 3-4 weeks depending on the size of the job, but I can often squeeze small jobs in any time of year.

Do you provide warranties on your work?

I do provide warranties on the work I do. Obviously I can't provide warranties on the materials, fixtures, or furniture I install or assemble, but I will always work with you to make sure everything ends up right.

With approximately 20 years of construction experience, including roles in installation, quality assurance, and working with structural engineers, I bring a unique depth of knowledge to every project. This background ensures quality work and problem-solving skills that go beyond typical handyman services. I'm not here to sell you on a service, I'm there to make sure you get your project completed. Sometimes that means sending you to a diiferent company that can better address your problem, and that is fine with me.
