SHARIF MEMORIAL TRUST  was founded by Late Sharif Ahmed Malik , a philanthropist and an agriculturist by profession. Who was blessed with an ability to propagate  Islamic ideology. His first project was launched in Kotli Loharan East ,Kharota Syedan,Sialkot ,Pakistan in 1977 as Midrisa Taleem Ul Quran  along with Jamia Masjid Hanfia Talab Wali (Daras Pura) . 

He shifted in early 1940 from Behlolpur  village located at Jalalpur- Marala Headworks Road, Sialkot-Punjab to look after his father's (Ghulam Muyidin Khokhar Rajput) properties and agriculture lands at kotli Loharain East, Sialkot. 

Latterly the ancestors of Haji Sharif Ahmed Malik have established a TRUST in the memorial of their father in 1997 ,which  named as: "SHARIF MEMORIAL TRUST" .

Successors of Kotli Loharian property have donated main Residence, Shops and Masjid's adjacent land to the Trust for its Devine cause .

 SHARIF MEMORIAL TRUST characterized by strong, active diverse community-based groups and network having main objectives:

a. Charities

b.   Improve local MAN power skills by arranging Preparation programs for specialized International industrial accreditation courses to fulfil local Jobs seeker requirement

c. Promote  community awareness for safety, health, environment  by organizing short courses and conferences

d.   Promote all efforts toward civic betterment in the area embraced within the provincial  boundaries

e. Promote SMT objectives by publishing the “Civic Pride”, a newsletter for the members of the Organization.

f. Nature of Activities.  The Organization shall be non-partisan and non-sectarian and shall not support or oppose any candidate for political office, nor take part in any movement not in keeping with the purposes and objectives of the Organization. The Organization, however, reserves the right to take a position and to express its views on any legislation, ordinance or course of action which in the judgment of the Organization will affect the welfare of its members, and to comment on the actions of individuals and groups whose purposes or actions affect the welfare of the area.

g.   Affiliation with Other Groups.  The Organization may join, support, and collaborate with federations, leagues, conventions or other civic groups whose purposes and actions are consistent with the welfare of the SHARIF MEMORIAL TRUST 

h.   Provided, that no action under this section shall impair the continued existence of the Organization as a distinct organization.
